Competition Information Flyer
The 4th Annual CUNY Wide Entrepreneurial Concept Competition (ECC) is organized and supported by the New York City Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (LSAMP) and the Black Male Leadership and Mentoring Program (BMLMP) of the City College of New York.
ECC4 takes place during the Fall Semester and is open to current CUNY students (graduate and undergraduate) of all majors with a special focus in the STEM disciplines. Since its inception in 2010, the ECC has had modest success with over 90 team projects making it to the final presentation for review and evaluation by our judging panel, composed of CUNY faculty and staff as well as entrepreneurs and professionals from the business and legal sectors. Student teams upload a video pitch of their business model, attend a series of on-campus workshops, submit an executive summary of their idea/concept and finally, present their material before ECC judges for the Grand Prize of $4,000.
Registration for ECC4 is currently closed and the competition officially began on September 9th, 2013. ECC4 will conclude with the Presentation and Award Ceremony scheduled for December 14th, 2013 in the Great Hall at the City College of New York. We encourage you to visit our website for the ECC at http://www.cunyecc.org/ to review some of the highlights of our previous competitions and for information on upcoming events.
